English Riviera Finalists Announced

Finalists have been selected for the inaugural English Riviera Tourism Awards which will be presented at The Imperial Hotel, Torquay on 3 October.

74 entries were received for the first year of the new English Riviera Tourism Awards, with 46 selected as finalists, based on evidence submitted and visits by independent judges. The full results, including details of who will win Gold, Silver, Bronze and Commended, will be announced at the Awards dinner on 3rd October, when guests will hear invaluable insights from national tourism judge and journalist Alison Rice.

The awards were launched as part of the English Riviera BID Company’s plans to encourage excellence across the area.  All entrants will receive feedback, as well as being considered for the Devon, South West and possibly VisitEngland Awards.

The awards categories were wide ranging including hotels, holiday parks, cafes and B&Bs alongside awards for access and inclusivity, events, outstanding customer service, dog friendliness, international tourism and innovation.
